This marks the release of v4 of the Primal RC platform. We added many upgrades and quality-of-life features based on your feedback over the years. A stronger differential, new single-bar steering system and 130kg steering servos are just some of the upgrades included with the new v4 platform. Features

Solid Axle

CNC aluminum axle tubes with steel axle shafts. Heavy duty CNC aluminum-cased oil-filled 4 bevel gear differentials. Steel ring and pinon gears. Modular axle tube designed for easy maintenance. Ready for rear-wheel steering conversion kit.

Suspension

Adjustable four-link coil-over-shock long-travel suspension. 12-Inch aluminum-bodied oil-filled heavy duty shocks. Front and rear sway bars. Solid aluminum four-link suspension shafts with steel heim joint ends. Includes upgraded shock seals to keep out debris and prevent leaks.

Drive Shafts

The drivetrain of the monster truck has been designed to handle a vehicle of its size and weight. To ensure durability and performance, the drivetrain includes:

Transmission

Double chain-driven all-steel gear single-speed transmission. Multiple gear ratio options for high speed and torque adjustments. Transmitter-operated reverse. Designed for easy maintenance.

Differential

The Primal MT is equipped with a strong differential with 12mm thick outdrives. It also has M5 ring gear bolts to reduce the chances of the bolts backing out. The v4 has thicker diff grease compared to earlier models to improve the handling of the monster truck

49cc Reed Valve Engine

49cc 2-stroke gas air-cooled pull start reed valve mini motorcycle engine. Rated for 6+ horsepower. Designed for high torque at lower RPM. 80mm centrifugal clutch setup. Custom-designed stainless steel tuned exhaust pipe.

Body and Roll Cage

Monster truck body. Two-Piece polycarbonate body mounted on a custom heavy duty plastic roll cage. Entire body and cage assembly easily removable for maintenance. Detailed interior driver figure.

Frame

Six-piece modular CNC aluminum frame. Frame designed to mount engine for a low center-of-gravity, for easy maintenance, and to make power conversions a breeze.

Steering

Dual 130kg servos with heavy duty, adjustable aluminum servo saver. Heavy duty steel heim joint steering-link ends. The strong single-bar steering system provides improved torque, durability, and steering angles.

Tires and Rims

12 x 7.5 inch monster truck chevron-treaded tires with foam insert. Inner and outer heavy duty nylon beadlocks. Mounted on 24mm hex, 5.5 x 6 inch nylon rims with strengthening ribs.

Brakes

Front and rear axle-mounted manual disc brakes with steel rotors. Equipped with strong 100kg brake servos for great stopping power.

Electronics

FlySky 2.4 GHz 6-channel transmitter. Ready for lights, rear steering and other accessories. Remote engine kill switch. Upgraded aluminum enclosed battery receiver and kill switch box with volt meter.
